Meet Steve Lines
Steve Lines, the founder of Lender Express Mortgage, has been helping Arizona homebuyers since 1996. He got his start as a bilingual mortgage loan officer at Wells Fargo while earning his accounting degree from Arizona State University. After working at one of the top accounting firms in the country, he realized his true passion was helping people buy homes — especially first-time buyers.
Steve is an Arizona native and ASU grad who understands the local housing market. Over the years, he’s built Lender Express Mortgage into one of the most trusted brokerages in the state. He believes in solving problems before they happen and giving every customer the time and attention they deserve.
He also speaks at industry events and mentors other mortgage professionals, but his favorite part of the job is still helping everyday people become homeowners.
Meet Adam Hawkins
Adam Hawkins is a Producing Branch Manager at Lender Express Mortgage in Scottsdale, Arizona. He’s spent the last 12+ years helping people buy homes with clarity and confidence — including many first-time buyers.
Adam got into the mortgage business because he loves real estate, numbers, and most of all, helping people. Early on, he learned the value of clear communication, education, and trust — and those values still guide every loan he works on today.
At Lender Express Mortgage, Adam is known for his calm, no-pressure style and his ability to explain the mortgage process in a way that just makes sense. He takes time to understand each borrower’s needs and walks them through their options step by step. You’ll never feel rushed or left in the dark.
In 2023, even in a challenging market, Adam doubled his loan volume by staying focused, creative, and solution-oriented. That same energy and dedication shows up in every file he handles.
Outside of work, Adam is a proud father of three daughters and a son. He also played football at Washington State University and competed in the 1998 Rose Bowl — an experience that taught him the importance of showing up, working hard, and being part of something bigger than yourself.
